Homemade Hummus
If you find yourself frequently purchasing store-bought hummus, this homemade snack recipe is one you have to try! It’s super easy, healthy and you get to get creative with it. Try adding cauliflower, roasted red peppers or even beetroot for some added veggie nutrition.
I paired this week’s hummus with some sourdough discard tortillas left over from my last batch of starter to go with this deliciously smooth and satisfying snack.
This will only take you about 5 minutes to make in a blender. It makes the perfect afternoon snack, party appetizer or addition to a meal.
Dip away with your favorite veggie sticks, flatbreads, crackers, or add just a dollop or two to your salad or bowl for some extra protein. Sometimes I add parsley to the mix, but this one is a simple garlicky spread, and topped with beautiful, crunchy garnish.
